On Friday, May 13, IHA’s 2nd annual Health Equity Action Day will spotlight the value of health equity to all communities and will feature discussions on successful health equity initiatives at Illinois hospitals. New state-funded nonprofit aims to boost primary care access by 50% on South Side
A coalition of South Side health care providers, including University of Chicago Medicine and Friend Health, have established the South Side Healthy Community Organization through the state’s Healthcare Transformation Collaboratives program, aiming to expand primary, specialty and preventative care. – Hyde Park Herald
